NSG Precision Cells has been manufacturing custom microfluidic chips for over 6 years. During those 6 years our capabilities have grown exponentially. We have grown from making 50-100 chips per month to having the ability to make thousands of chips per month.
Using wet-etching technology, we are able to manufacture highly precise channels with a surface roughness of Ra@0.1 or better. Wet-etching also gives the best results optically due to the high transparency.
We use our ES grade quartz for the substrate material for all our microchips. Quartz is our material of choice because it offers the best transmission properties, as well as superior thermal properties. NSG Precision Cells also manufactures the ES Quartz so we have complete control over the entire manufacturing process from start to finish.
Having complete control of the manufacturing process allows us to better meet the needs of our customers. We use a highly advanced CCD camera for our inspection process to ensure that all specifications are met down to the smallest micron.
