SOLID-STATE STANDARDS! NEVER REPLACE! NEVER RECALIBRATE! Easy to use and handle. Can be used in ANY spectrophotometer. Guaranteed.

These Reference Standards meet or exceed all the requirements of NIST930e standard established by NIST - National Institute of Standards & Technology, USA

Our unique materiaI-formation and nano-deposition proprietary manufacturing process assures unmatched stability of optical performance of WAV-7 Calibration Standard. WAV-7 NEVER needs to be recalibrated due to materiaI aging.
When you invest over $10,000 on a UV VIS spectrophotometer why not make sure it is calibrated correctly?

Benefits of using Solid-State Calibration Reference Standards:

  • Highly accurate and consistent spectrophotometer calibration every time
  • Never have to be replaced, one kit will last forever
  • Save recalibration time, these calibration standards never have to be recalibrated due to material aging
  • Easy to handle due to scratch resistant coating
  • Can be used in any UV VIS spectrophotometer
  • Standard 12.5 x 12.5 mm dimensions
  • Meet or exceed all the requirements of NIST930e standard
  • NIST Compatible

This VIS calibration kit can test the following:
  • Photometric Accuracy - in the VIS range
This kit meet or exceed all the requirements of NIST930e standard.
NIST Traceable.

Liquid and Solid-State Neutral Density filters for testing photometric accuracy of spectrophotometers are typically calibrated by the filters' manufacturers, and the corresponding filters performance certificates are supplied to customers.  Whereas solid-state filters typically maintain their performance for many years, performance of liquid filters degrades much quicker due to so-called slow irreversible chemical reactions, photonic-promoted chemical reactions, and certain other reasons. Therefore, manufacturers of liquid filters typically request customers to replace liquid filters every 1 to 3 years.

At the same time, until recently solid-state neutral density filters had substantial non-linearity across their surface which caused substantial contribution to so-called "Expanded Uncertainty"*. This was a disadvantage of solid-state neutral density filters.
 *As defined by NIST.

Modern development of nano-technology allowed us to develop state-of art solid-state quantum resonance filters towards replacing liquid filters, such that customers can benefit from substantial savings on filters' replacements.

Our proprietary nano-deposition and nano-embedded technology overcomes the said disadvantage of using solid-state neutral density filters comparably to liquid-based filters while preserving all the advantages of solid-state neutral density filters. Moreover, our composite medium allows using our solid-state neutral density filters for calibration and research and development purposes of our customers not only for the NIST wavelengths but also at ANY wavelength within the optical wavelength range of operations of our solid-state neutral density filters.

The optical wavelength range of operations of the neutral density filters included in this kit is 400-700 nm.

Photometric data tables are available for qualified customers. Please contact us for more information.

The instruction on how to use this kit is included with the every sold product.
