Premium Photometric Accuracy & Stray Light Calibration Reference Standards Kit 1
These Reference Standards correspond or exceed requirements of NIST930e established by NIST National Institute of Standards & Technology, USA.
Our unique materiaI-formation and nano-deposition proprietary manufacturing process assures unmatched stability of optical performance of WAV-7 Calibration Standard. WAV-7 NEVER needs to be recalibrated due to materiaI aging.
Benefits of using Solid Based Calibration Reference Standards:
- Highly accurate and consistent spectrophotometer calibration every time
- Never have to be replaced, one kit will last forever
- Save recalibration time, these calibration standards never have to be recalibrated due to material aging
- Easy to handle due to scratch resistant coating
- Can be used in any UV VIS spectrophotometer
- Standard 12.5 x 12.5 mm dimensions
- Meets or exceeds all the requirements of NIST930e standard
- NIST Compatible
This UV/VIS calibration kit can test the following:
- Photometric Accuracy - In the UV and VIS range
- Stray Light Performance of Spectrophotometers- in the UV and VIS range
NIST Traceable data tables/charts are available for qualified customers.
Liquid and Solid-State Neutral Density filters for testing photometric accuracy of spectrophotometers are typically calibrated by the filters' manufacturers, and the corresponding filters performance certificates are supplied to customers. Whereas solid-state filters typically maintain their performance for many years, performance of liquid filters degrades much quicker due to so-called slow irreversible chemical reactions, photonic-promoted chemical reactions, and certain other reasons. Therefore, manufacturers of liquid filters typically request customers to replace liquid filters every 1 to 3 years.
At the same time, until recently solid-state neutral density filters had substantial non-linearity across their surface which caused substantial contribution to so-called "Expanded Uncertainty"*. This was a disadvantage of solid-state neutral density filters.
*As defined by NIST.
Modern development of nano-technology allowed us to develop state-of art solid-state quantum resonance filters towards replacing liquid filters, such that customers can benefit from substantial savings on filters' replacements.
The optical wavelength range of operations of our FUV-1 Stray Light/Photometric Accuracy Filter is 200-700 nm and 400-700 nm for the other neutral density filters included in this kit.
Photometric data tables are available for qualified customers. Please contact us for more information.
